| I guess everyone needs to travel to their anti-mecca once in their life. |

| Sometimes I get a little paranoid...
Have you ever had the feeling that perhaps everyone you know notices a drastic flaw in you but does not come out and tell you? I have been getting that feeling often lately. More and more I find when I talk to people, they have this half smile on their face like they are just humoring me and patiently waiting till I will shut up or at least say something that they can challenge. Everyday I seem to get a little bit more tired, and as time stretches on it appears that everyone I know is trying in the most subversive of ways to drag energy out of me. Nothing obvious, just saying small things for me to dwell upon as I try to go to sleep at night, or small deeds that make me rethink my perceptions of what their true intentions are. Of course I do not always feel this way, but sometimes I really wonder if there is some big aspect of who I am that others fail to point out to me because they think I already know, or even worse they are humored that I don't know.
As I said before I am just tired and paranoid, but I wanted to see if others get this strange feeling from time to time.

| I found this quote about the SCA and feel that it best explains why I find the whole thing so fascinating.
"We are modern people with egalitarian instincts deliberately creating a society that combines feel-good communalism with hierarchical, exclusionary elitism. It should not be surprising that it leads to the occasional cognitive dissonance." - Tangwystl verch Morgan Glasvryn
